Here Comes the Boom | In Theaters Oct. 12

Kevin James, who stars alongside Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler, plays a high school biology teacher who takes up MMA in an effort to raise money for his struggling school that is being forced to cut extracurricular activities.

Kevin James, who is a huge fan of the UFC, did not want to make a mockery of the brand or sport. He even goes on to say that the UFC doesn’t even need him, so he was happy when they actually signed on and gave him permission to do the film. The UFC knows how big a fan of the sport Kevin James is and gave him permission to use the brand.

To make the movie look believable, Kevin James trained hard and dropped from 285 lbs to 218 lbs. Kevin James used an organic diet and trained with a few different fighters from the UFC. This training was essential for his role in Here Comes the Boom as he wanted to make it as realistic as possible. Even within the film they had professionals there to focus on the continuity and realism of the fights.

I had the chance to run into Kevin James and see a early premiere of the new film Here Comes The Boom. The movie was great and I definitely suggest seeing it. It’s amazing how Kevin James transformed himself to look like an actual heavyweight contender. He was not cut and defined like a typical MMA fighter, but he was built like a fighter and looked to be very in shape. He also went on to say, he got punched a lot in the film.

Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own
blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for
something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
