Soccer

Soccer is the world’s sport.  Only in the last decade or so has soccer begun to emerge in the United States as a reputable sport that we are putting major effort into catching up to the rest of the world’s “Soccer Superpowers.”  But, what is it that will help you become the best soccer player that you can be?

1.  Speed is crucial for success getting to the ball, controlling the ball, and running down the other team

2. Leg strength for loading before you kick

3. Agility to change directions on both offense and defense

4. Balance so that you can change directions quickly

We will transform your body into a machine that will be able to run fast, shoot hard, and start and stop quickly for all 90 minutes.  We will work plyometrics for leg strength and explosiveness.  We will work speed without weight for pure speed, but we will also work speed with products such as weighted vests so that you can build fast twitch muscles more quickly.  We will work a lot with cones and ladders to help you develop that balance and agility to shake defenders and defend them well.  And, we will develop your mental toughness so that you won’t even think about being tired after a long sprint.  When you can focus on strategy and not on fatigue your game will elevate quickly
