Basketball

Basketball

The NBA has some incredible athletes.  The typical frame of a basketball player is:

1. Tall

2. Lean

3. Explosive Legs

4. Tremendous Hand Eye Coordination

5. Balance on the Ground and in the Air

If basketball is your sport of choice we can work with you to develop those skills that will help you excel on and off of the court (unfortunately we cannot make you tall).  We will build your leg strength without turning your legs into tree trunks that would slow you down on the court.  We will teach you how to better control your body while fighting in the air for a rebound.  We will teach you how to outjump your defender so that your jump shot is uncontested.  We will develop your muscle endurance so that you can defend on and off of the ball quickly and then beat your opponents down the court in your transition game.  And, we will help you think your way through the game by developing your mental toughness both on and off of the court

    Hi,

I am a multi sport athlete and I am attending cal u next year. I have been going to a gym for speed and strength conditioning, but I was looking for somewhere closer. I am planning to play volleyball in college. Throughout high school I played basketball and track, as well. Do you have anything where I can come on appointment irregularly and work out with a speed and strength trainer? And if so how much would it be per session? Thank you!
